Although we really
do not actually produce the identical cabinet that was
first designed and built by NuAire, Inc. under contract
from the National Institutes of Health in 1974, you
have to look pretty close to tell the difference on
the outside. BUT - over the years we have made significant
improvements to just about everything else. On the inside!

The LabGard™407
is an outstanding value!
- The lowest profile cabinet available. Since the
blower is beneath the work surface and not above,
as in bench models, the overall height of the cabinet,
when installed is only 83-inches, as opposed to
an equivalent bench model whose height is over a
foot higher. The cabinet with the leg levelers removed
will easily pass through a standard 6ft, 8-inch
doorway.
- Low noise level. Because the blower is tucked
underneath the work surface, farther away from the
operators ears,coupled with the sound attenuating
characteristics of the HEPEX™ flexible supply
plenum, sound levels are reduced by over 3db. Each
3db is perceived by the human ear to be a doubling
of noise level.
- Designed for Safety and Operating Ease. Safety
starts with all positive pressure plenums surrounded
by negative pressure, even down to the HEPA interface
with the cabinet shell. Ease of operation begins
with the convenient Modular Control Center and is
consistent throughout in design, function and ease
of maintenance. All components for service and maintenance
are accessible from the front of the cabinet.
